When Wonder Arrives

Childhood moves through time as if through a sudden miracle. Joy arrives unexpectedly, carrying with it movement, surprise and the promise of something still unknown.
A child reaches toward a star as another figure approaches, bringing an abundance of gifts, creatures and curious objects. Between them, anticipation fills the open space, while a silent witness watches from the edge. The work evokes that particular state of childhood in which wonder needs no explanation and the boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary seems to disappear.
