International Competition - First Honorable Mention
The project responds to the elongated geometry of the site and its contrasting boundaries: the road to one side and the river to the other.
An orchard forms a buffer between the road and the cabins, filtering noise and pollution while defining the entrance to the site. The access route passes through the orchard along a central axis, leading towards a small reception and continuing to the waterfront, where it extends into a pontoon.
The five cabins are distributed along the length of the plot, while the shared spaces are placed close to the river at a lower level, preserving unobstructed views from the accommodation units. As the distance from the waterfront increases, the cabins are progressively raised above the ground to maintain a visual connection with the river.
A future extension of five additional cabins follows the same spatial logic, preserving direct views towards the water while maintaining privacy between the units.
