Bună ZIUA PARK
International Competition - 5th Place - Cluj, Romania - 2022
The project proposes the revitalisation of the Becaș River corridor through a landscape strategy that combines controlled water-flow interventions, ecological restoration and a new network of pedestrian and cycling routes.
A hierarchical system of paths structures the park. The main pedestrian promenade follows the river, while secondary routes descend along the natural slope, connecting recreational areas and key architectural elements through ramps and platforms. Access points are conceived as small planted squares that mediate between the city and the park.
Through minimal intervention and the preservation of existing vegetation and the river corridor, the project aims to reinforce the park’s semi-wild character while supporting biodiversity and public use.
